Mother's Day Surprise

My dad orchestrated a Mother's Day surprise for my mom. He got all the kids home for the weekend with out my mom knowing. Here is my dad pacing in the kitchen waiting for my mom to get home.
My mom as she rounded the corner and saw all her kids sitting on the couch. A little stunned!
One of Steve's clients offered us his beach house for the weekend. We headed down on Friday night. We had perfect weather, a beautiful place to stay and an action packed weekend.

We decided to go crabbing on Mother's Day. It was pretty hilarious to see the guys get sooooo in to the experience. We caught lots of crab but they were too small. I am glad I can mark crabbing off my bucket list now.

Honest Alexa

Alexa was nominated for student of the month for her honesty. She received a pin, they had a little presentation and proud parents snapping lots of photos.

Birthday party

For Alexa' s birthday party we went low-key his year. I think once you get in to double digits it's time to simmer down the big parties. She got to pick 3 of her best friends and they went to Color Me Mine. They really painted some adorable creations!
