I have been dying to go on the Frontrunner since it opened. Today we finally took the outing. I highly recommend it! A family day pass is $16.50. You can take the train from down town SLC to the Latyon stop. Literally right off the stop is a little ma and pa diner called Doug and Emms. It has great down home food and we surrounded by a bunch of good ol'boys. Then once we were done with lunch we caught the train back to SLC. The kids loved it and Alexa even said "this was the best day ever!" ;)

that looks like a great way to spend a Saturday. both brook and i have had to take the lightrail for work @ one time or another,and i think it is simply fabulous. we need to make an afternoon outing one of these days to downtown denver to walk around and just mainly so that we CAN take the train -- oh so much fun for the boys!
