The brush fire in the east mountains has created spectacular sunsets for us. This is the view from our drive way!

Park City!
I had a few days off from work this week. Steve and I headed up to Park City for a few days. We had such a good time shopping, riding the ski lift and going on the Alpine Slide. A much needed get-a-way with NO KIDS! :)

1st grade!
First grade is exhausting! Jonah fell asleep tonight at 6:30!!! He is snoring next to me right now. Here are a few pics that I was able to sneak in on my still subject.

Time flies!
A year ago today Steve and I got engaged in Long Beach, California. I can't believe how time has flown. He took me by surprise the day he proposed and he continues to surprise me each day! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our fabulous day a year ago. Love you babe!

Carrot Cake Grandma
Steve's sweet grandma Thelma peacefully passed away early this morning. We were fortunate to have her in Utah for the past month. These pictures are from a year ago. Steve and I got engaged in California and went to visit her the very next day. She kept teasing me and saying my ring was blinding her. She had a great kindness and incredible wit about her. We will really miss her but find great comfort in knowing we will see her again.

Finally our pics from our Oregon trip!
This is my FAVORITE picture from the trip. I helped Jonah pack his bag for the trip. As we were getting ready to load it up in the car we noticed he added a little something extra....his choptsticks! You never know when you are going to need your chopsticks to get you out of a jam!
Playing at Cannon Beach!
The kids saw the ocean for the very first time and stuck their feet in the COLD Pacific Ocean.
We spent an afternoon at OMSI. It is a great science museum in Oregon. I don't know who had more fun Steve or the kids!
We stared at all the "wierdos" at the Portland Saturday Market. Granny B joined us for that adventure.
After a few days in Portland we headed to a resort called Sunriver in eastern Oregon. I used to go here in the summers as a child. It was great to go back and see all the changes. We did many of the same things I used to do when I was the kids age.
The kids went on a horse back ride with their Aunt Meghan.
We went on long bike rides and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery.
These are usually the only pics Steve and I get with each other.
We had a fabulous first family vacation. I will be the first to admit it was exhausting having 3 little ones to take care of, pack for and entertain on the vacation. But we can't wait to do it again next year!!!!

Scout Camp
Caleb had a blast at day scout camp. I wish I had taken a before and after picture of him from the morning and when he got home each night. He was covered with dirt from head to toe. Now that's a good time!

Deer Valley Music Festival
Many of you may not know that my husband was on scholarship for the trumpet in college. Yes he is a band geek. To say the least he is much more sophisticated than I when it comes to "great" music. I surprised him with tickets to see The 1812 Overture at the Deer Valley Music Festival. It is a great atmosphere and we can't wait to go again.
We invited our friends Heather and Matt to come along.

We have so much to catch up on!
The boys and Steve had a father and son camp out. While the boys were away the girls played!! Alexa and I had a girls night.
We made cute hair clips. We then met up with Annie, Nora and Shay. Alexa made clips for each of them. She is sooo thoughtful!
The girls really enjoyed eathing at The Cheesecake Factory and really loved the giant sunday they shared!
The past 3 weeks have been out of control. We have literally moved from one thing to the next and it's not over yet. Here is a quick catch up!
