My office was closed on Thursday and Friday last week so Steve and I decided to take a little trip. We headed down to St. George. While I layed by the pool Steve met with his clients. Poor guy! The weather was gorgeous! I kept saying to Steve "Don't you want to move to St. George?". I love the climate and landscape in that area.
On saturday we headed to Vegas for Annie's wedding at The Little White Chapel. It was a riot! While we were there another couple got married in the drive through on a motorcycle. It was so great to see Annie, Ryan and the kids soooo happy! Unfortuantly my camera got dropped right before the wedding. These pics that I have were emailed to me by Annie. Hopefully I will have more soon!

Thanksgiving point
Steve didn't get home until late Thursday night on Alexa's birthday. So we told her she could choose a special birthday activity for Saturday. She chose to eat at Golden Corral and then go to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point. It was windier than all get out today. But we had such a good time. All the little baby animals have just been born. We saw the cutest little goats!!! It was pretty fun to hear the kids and STEVE making fools out of themselves over the cuteness of the little guys. They all talked to them in these high pitched voices saying "you are just the cutest thing I have ever seen!". Entertainment!!

Birthday Girl!
Thursday our favorite girl turned 8! Please notice the horrendous cake I attempted. I know all of you experts in cake decorating are laughing at it. But I will have you know the kids thought it was the most "special" cake they had ever seen!!!!
An exciting birthday treat is sleeping downstairs on the couch. It's the simple things in life people!

Our busy week in photos
Like I said Steve was out of town all week and I had the kiddos! We accomplished a lot!
We went on a tour of the Sweets Factory and Jonah brought "Lambert". Lambert is from his class at school. Each student gets to take him for a day and they write about what they did with Lambert. I think this was Lambert's favorite adventure by far!!!

Crazy!
I am grearing up for a crazy week. Steve is in Texas on business and the kids are on Spring Break. It's me and the 3 monkeys all week! It has been a bit of a juggling act because I have to work all week. Thankfully my father-in-law has volunteered to babysitt and an aunt is chipping in. I do have a few fun things planned for them and I will post pictures later in the week!

Back to normal!
Look at the pretty flowers Steve brought home for me this weekend! Auuuggghhh!
Steve's mid-line was taken out yesterday, he shaved his 10 day old beard and is back to work! He is feeling much better although he gets worn out easily. Last night we went shopping with Annie and Ryan to find their wedding outfits. Steve wasn't feeling good about 30 minutes in....hhmmmm....do you think it could have been the shopping?
We are very thankful to be back in full health and I am happy to have my normal husband back!

I have been tagged by Katie to do the following:
Here are the rules:
A: Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves
B: At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names.
Although I am only going to tag one person....6...that's a lot of assignments to hand out! :)
ok...about me...
1. I have been married for 122 days!
2. I ran a marathon.
3. I have been in a hurrican and a tornado.
4. I was in synchronized swimming when I was little.
5. I have to have the shower curtain closed at all times! (My husband is catching on to this one)
6. When I was a little girl I would stand at the primary door and tell the kids where to sit. ( I know that is shocking!)
Now I tag Annie :)
