Yeah!!!

1. I paid $30 less today on a full tank of gas than I used to in July. YEAH!!!

2. I took Heather's engagement pictures yesterday. We had such a good time freezing our rears off at The Temply Quary. It was well worth it. We got some SUPER shots. Thanks Heather and Matt for trusting my skills! I will have to sweet talk her to let me debut a pic. They are top secret! :)

Are you smartert than a 5th grader?

Caleb is quite matter of fact about being smart. To him it is a fact....like the sky is blue and Caleb is smart. The kid read the first Harry Potter book when he was six and has always been in advanced school programs. But you can imagine how the ego grew when he was selected this week to travel down to U.V.U with four other 5th graders from his school. They played "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" against college students.

It was so fun to watch the kids answer the questions. Here they are working on an answer.

32nd birthday!

I don't know about anyone else but since I have been married going to the gym has been the last thing on my mind. I used to be able to run and run forever. Now I don't think I could run around the block. So for my birthday this week I got myself my own present....A PERSONAL TRAINER. I met with her yesterday morning at 5:45am! Of course she is 5'1, size zero and maybe 95lbs. She was great though. My legs are HURTING today but it's a good pain. I can't wait to see what she tortures me with next week!!!

Big Weekend

Steve dropped his cell phone in anti-freeze this weekend! That meant we had to take a trip to the t-mobile store on Saturday. Look who also got a cell phone! Caleb feels like a big kid now. I have to say it was pretty cool to get a text from him this morning as he was on his way to school.
Alexa got her hair cut! We took the boys to get their hair cut and she said she wanted her hair cut to her shoulders. So cute!

Neighbors Part II

We found out who left the package of love on our front porch! Steve went door knocking and it was our neighbors that live right next to us. The interesting thing is we are the closest to them out of all our neighbors. We borrow things from each other and their daughter plays with our dogs all the time. Steve had a very nice conversation with her :). He explained how inappropriate her actions were and that they need to be mature and talk to us face to face if they have a problem. My favorite part was that he told her "you really hurt my wife's feelings!".

I love Steve for taking control of this issue. He is not one to let any issue go unresolved or to let any one treat me badly. It took me a while to get used to that when we were dating. I remember when we were dating I changed my car insurance. I casually mentioned that the guy I went to talk to made me feel a little umcomfortable. He was creepy. Steve was so upset that any one would make me feel that way. He was ready to go and have a little one on one conversation with they guy. I told him it wasn't necessary. I have taken care of myself/been single for so many years but now I have grown to absolutely love being taken care of. He is such a good protector of our family!

As for my neighbor...I know I need to be the bigger person and forgive her. We will see how quickly that goes in to effect! :)
